  • you Must own any one of the Call of duty game on steam to get the Beta Free
  • Beta is free till the full game release of the game

Hello everyone and welcome back!

We want to thank you for joining us for the Black Ops 3 Beta and we are really excited to hear your feedback.

Final optimizations and final Advanced Graphics features are not included in the PC Beta; however, you can expect that these will be in the final game. We typically spend the last couple of months before launch finalizing graphics features and optimizations on PC. Also, the final optimized drivers from our hardware partners will also come later.

Here are some known issues and tips to help you enjoy the Beta:
  • There are some issues that occur when using a gamepad while also using keyboard and mouse. Once in match we recommend using one control input device.
  • During a match, changing your texture settings or shadow map quality can result in the game locking up. It is best to only make changes to these settings while not in a match to avoid these issues.
  • There are some known issues with 4k resolution, we recommend playing in Fullscreen mode when playing on 4k monitors.
  • Certain Sound Blaster cards set at 44000Hz or higher sample rating can cause the game to not run. Please lower this setting and try to run the game again if you experience issues.
  • The Steam Overlay does not work if you are running Fraps
  • Scene Resolution Ratio is a great option for increasing the game's performance. If the game isn't running smooth, using this and lowering Max FPS can really help
  • Mouse Filtering and Mouse Sensitivity can really help the mouse feel great. For high DPI mice, we recommend turning the DPI up outside of the game and using the in game Mouse Sensitivity and Mouse Filtering to get you mouse movement exactly how you like it

We will keep you updated as the Beta continues and thanks again for playing!

Slow internet speeds in Pakistan due to Fault in submarine cable

Internet users in Pakistan have been recently complaining about slow internet and disrupted connectivity. It turns out that this has been caused by a fault in SEAMEWE4, one of Pakistan’s most important submarine cables.
According to sources, the fault occurred near Karachi and is a physical fault. While the exact location of the fault has been identified, rectification procedures are taking longer than expected.
Pakistan Telecommunication Private Limited (PTCL) relies heavily on SEAMEWE4 and sources have confirmed that in order to save users from the inconvenience they are facing, bandwidth is now being shifted to other submarine cables.
If you are facing slow internet speeds in Pakistan then you aren’t alone. Almost whole of Pakistan (including 3G users) are impacted with slow internet speeds due to a fault that is developed in SEAMEWE4, one of the the major submarine cables that connect Pakistan with rest of the internet.
According to PTCL officials :
PTCL to provide connectivity during restoration work on undersea international submarine cable SEA-ME-WE 4.The International Submarine cable SEA-ME-WE 4 has experienced a fault in Arabian sea, impacting internet services in the region including Pakistan. The restoration work has been initiated by the international consortium that manages the submarine cable systems. PTCL by virtue of its investments in diversified International SubmarineCable systems, has already undertaken necessary measures to provide internet connectivity to its customers across Pakistan. However, due to fault in the undersea cable, the internet users may experience slow browsing during this period.
